Baikal skullcap, Huang Qin, and Scutellaria baicalensis. The American variety is commonly referred to as American skullcap or Scutellaria lateriflora.

Skullcap is a relaxing herb that has long been used to strengthen the nervous system, encouraging restful sleep. It is perfect for balancing pitta and kapha because of its cooling qualities, particularly during stressful situations.

*Use as directed: once or twice a day, ¼ to ½ teaspoon with warm water.
