What is Incense Made of Moldavite? 

The land that is now Moldavia was hit by a huge asteroid about 15 million years ago. When moving energy is turned into heat, a lot of heat is released. This made the falling lava melt and spew into the air. As of now, moldavite is made up of pieces of cooled molten siliceous lava that were created when meteors hit the Earth's surface.

The rock is also the name of a type of incense called moldavite. To make this incense, herbs, flowers, wood gums, essential oils, sandalwood powder, honey, and resin are used. Obviously, it's not made of Moldavite. It smells like a campfire, with a flower and musk scent. It's nice to meditate with a moldavite stone because the smell is soothing and not too strong.
