Yucca schidigera is a plant that grows in Mexico, and it has a very high level of saponins and phenolic compounds with antioxidant action. The study of Olas, Wachowicz et all (2021) found that the compounds in Yucca decreased platelet adhesion, can be helpful in cardiovascular conditions, similar to the action of resveratrol. Roots of soaptree yucca  are high in saponins and are used as a shampoo in Native American rituals.
